He has gone through quite remarkable times. He started off as a 10 year old boy playing popular songs as finger style arranged guitar pieces on YouTube. There have been milestones like "Billy Jean" or the "Priates of the Caribbean Theme" that drew attention to his channel.
In the meantime he has just published his second album CD "Irony" and is a regular guest in TV shows and concerts throughout Asia. But also in the rest of the world he is being recognized a lot. His YouTube channel has now almost incredible 400 million clicks! And he's got young fans like a popstar.
One thing we are very proud of is the fact that he plays a Lakewood guitar. Back in 2007 Ulli Bögershausen made us aware of this young talent on YouTube. We were spontaneously excited and got in touch with him and asked if we can be of any support. The first guitar we made for Sungha Jung was a small bodied Auditorium shape with a 630mm scale length.
As he obviously grew a lot (you actually cannot manage to get an up-to-date picture of him), we recently made a M-48 custom for him, which is a Grand Concert shape with a standard scale length of 650mm.

We are asked a lot about Sungha's guitar specs from people all over the world. That's why we would like to show the exact specifications of his guitar. It is actually possible to re-make this model via the Lakewood customshop.
An M-48 custom basically means a Grand Concert guitar with a spruce top and macassar back and sides. The rest of the model is like in the table below.
